School it seems takes away from my reading and writing time. Explain that to me. I'll probably learn just as much from readin and writing on my own as I will in school. Hell, I want to be a writer, so why do I need to know Geometry? Oh well, I;m just bitching, and I need to go to bed soon. The whole up at 6 in the morning thing is killing me. I haven't gotten a decent nights sleep since school began. Oh well. *sigh*

Well, I'm here. For my first entry I have a fanfic, hot off the press, just finished a few minutes ago, of the KakashiXIruka variety. Here it is.

Sleep

Kakashi was skilled at feigning sleep, which wasn’t quite as easy as it appeared. Whilst anyone could close their eyes and deepen their breathing there was more to fooling others into believing the slumber was real. One had to learn to ignore slight discomforts, like the way his arm itched from where Iruka’s hair splayed over it, and find a way to expunge all troubles from their face and leave only a contented smile. One had to forget all they knew about the truth of the world.

But Kakashi could do that, maybe it was because he could recall how his charges had looked on their first day of training, or maybe it was because dark thoughts never flitted through his mind when he was with Iruka, even when he gazed upon scars forever wrought in flesh.

He always woke before Iruka, a fact which Iruka was oblivious to. He knew Iruka would force him to climb out of bed so they wouldn’t be late, but if he thought Kakashi was still asleep he’d speak aloud to the sun filled silence that five more minutes wouldn’t cause any harm, and when he finally did muster the conviction to awaken Kakashi a muscled arm would drape across his hips and bed-tousled hair would lay drizzeled across his cheek as Kakashi sought to rest his head in that so perfect spot where Iruka’s shoulder and neck joined. Then Iruka would sigh and decide that this was more important than punctuality and that this was a better way to start off his morning than coffee. Being a little late wouldn’t be too terrible.

Besides, he loved to watch Kakashi sleep.

The End!
